To issue a refund:
Go to Sales > Orders in your dashboard — or open an order directly from any booking or transaction.
Click the Order you want to open.
Click Actions at the bottom.
Select Refund Order.
Choose the item(s) to refund or enter a custom refund amount and reason (if required).
Click Issue Refund.

What is the minimum amount that can be refunded?
Typical minimum refund amounts by currency:
United States: 1 USD
Canada: 1 CAD
European Union: 1 EUR
Switzerland: 1 CHF
United Kingdom: 1 GBP
Talo Payments may decline refunds below $1 (or local equivalent).
Can refunds be canceled?
No. Once a refund is initiated, it cannot be canceled or reversed.
Can I issue partial refunds?
Yes. After a partial refund, you can refund the remaining amount later.
Is there a time limit for refunds?
Affirm: up to 120 days
Afterpay: up to 120 days
Klarna: up to 180 days
PayPal (through Talo Payments): up to 180 days
What are the fees for refunding payments?
Standard Talo Payments processing fees apply.
Example: If you refund $100, the original processing fee (e.g., $2.90 + $0.30 in the U.S.) is not returned to your account.
No additional refund fee is charged.
Why aren’t processing fees refunded?
Processing fees cover the cost of payment processing and are non-refundable. If your Talo Payments balance is too low to cover the fee amount during a refund, you may need to add funds.
My customer hasn’t received the refund yet. What should I do?
Refunds usually arrive in 3–5 business days.
If the customer still hasn’t received it after that time, contact Talo Support for help.
I need to issue a refund, but my account has a negative balance. What can I do?
If your balance can’t cover the refund, you’ll need to add funds to your Talo Payments account.
Note: For PayPal transactions processed through Talo Payments, it’s not currently possible to top up a negative balance. You must wait for new PayPal payments to clear.
