How to create repeat appointments

Learn how to set up repeat appointments for your regular clients.

If you regularly meet with the same client, recurring appointments make scheduling effortless. You can choose how often the appointment repeats and when the series should end. In this guide, you’ll learn how to add and customize recurring bookings.

How to add a recurring appointment

  1. Click the +New button in the navigation menu.

  2. Click Appointment.

  3. Under Client name, search for an existing client or add a new one:

    • Start typing a name to find the client in your existing contacts, then select the client's name from the menu.

    • For new clients, enter the client's name and click Add to contacts. Enter the client's email address and phone number.

  4. Click Add service and select a service from the menu. You can edit the duration or price of the service if desired.

  5. Under Appointment details:

    • Select the meeting location.

    • Check the box next to Repeats.

    • Choose a date and time.

    • Under Repeats every, choose the frequency the appointment will recur (every day, week, month, or year).

    • Under End repeating, choose whether the recurrence should end on a specific date or after a set number of appointments.

    • Enter notes (optional). Notes are only visible to you and your team members.

  6. Under Booking confirmation, check or uncheck the boxes to notify the client of the appointment via email, text, or both.

  7. Click Book & collect payment to charge or request the payment at the time of booking, or click Book instead to book the appointment and reserve the spot in your calendar without requesting payment.

Once you've booked the series of repeat appointments, they'll appear on your calendar and in your appointments list. The client will receive a reminder before each upcoming appointment.
