Accepting Payments: Adding & Managing Business Owners

Updated over 3 weeks ago

If you're accepting payments as a business entity (Corporation, General Partnership, LLC, etc.), you must add the required business owners or directors so your Talo Payments account meets legal and compliance requirements.

Who should I add?

  • Anyone who owns 25% or more of the company

  • Anyone with significant responsibility for running the business (CEO, CFO, COO, President, Vice President, Treasurer, General Partner, Chairperson, Director, etc.)

  • If you're in Canada or the Netherlands, members of your corporation’s board of directors

Important:

  • Talo Payments may request extra information or documents to verify these individuals.

  • You can add another manager if needed, but it’s not required if you already added yourself.

After adding business owners, you can return at any time to edit or remove them.
