With Sub-contacts, you can link family members, friends, and more to a primary customer, giving you a complete picture of their network. Whether it’s remembering a spouse’s name, tracking who placed an order, or building new opportunities with referrals, Sub-contacts help you deliver more personalized service and strengthen every client connection.
How to add a sub-contact
Follow these steps to add a sub-contact and link them to a customer:
Click the +New button above the main navigation menu.
Click Sub-contact.
Under Primary contact, start typing a name to search for the customer you want to associate the new sub-contact with.
Select the sub-contact's relationship to the customer (Child, Spouse/partner, Other family, Friend, Pet, Vehicle).
Enter the sub-contact's name and contact information.
Optionally, enter the sub-contact's birthday, select a gender, and add notes.
Click Save.
How to see sub-contacts linked to a customer
To see which sub-contacts are linked to a specific customer, follow these steps:
Click Customers & leads.
Click the customer name, or click the View button next to the customer.
Sub-contacts linked to the customer are displayed under Contact info.
To view a sub-contact, click the sub-contact's name.
