Book an appointment

Book an appointment and charge or request a payment.

In this guide, you'll learn how to add an appointment to your calendar and collect or request payment. There are several different ways to add an appointment, making it quick and easy to do from anywhere in your account:

Add an appointment from the quick access menu

  1. Click the +New button in the navigation menu.

  2. Click Appointment.

  3. Follow the steps under How to add an appointment to complete the booking.

Add an appointment from the Calendar

  1. Click Bookings in the navigation menu and select Calendar.

  2. There are two ways to add an appointment from the calendar:

    1. Click a specific date and time slot in the calendar and select Add appointment.

    2. Click the Add button and select Appointment.

  3. Follow the steps under How to add an appointment to complete the booking.

Add an appointment from the Appointments list

  1. Click Bookings in the navigation menu and select Appointments list.

  2. Click the Add appointment button.

  3. Follow the steps under How to add an appointment to complete the booking.

Add an appointment from the customer's profile

  1. Click Customers & leads in the navigation menu.

  2. Click the View button next to the customer.

  3. Click Book and select Appointment.

  4. Follow the steps under How to add an appointment to complete the booking.

Add an appointment from the Getting paid page

  1. Click Getting paid in the navigation menu.

  2. Under Book appointments and classes, click Add appointment.

  3. Follow the steps under How to add an appointment to complete the booking.

How to add an appointment

  1. Create a new appointment through the quick access menu, Calendar, Appointments list, customer's profile, or Getting paid page, as described above.

  2. Under Client name, search for an existing client or add a new one:

    • Start typing a name to find the client in your existing contacts, then select the client's name from the menu.

    • For new clients, enter the client's name and click Add to contacts. Enter the client's email address and phone number.

  3. Click Add service and select a service from the menu. You can edit the duration or price of the service if desired.

  4. Under Appointment details:

    • Select the meeting location.

    • Choose a date and time. If you are adding an appointment from the calendar, the date and time will be preselected, but you can change them.

    • Enter notes (optional). Notes are only visible to you and your team members.

  5. Under Booking confirmation, check or uncheck the boxes to notify the client of the appointment via email, text, or both.

  6. Click Book & collect payment to charge or request the payment at the time of booking, or click Book instead to book the appointment and reserve the spot in your calendar without requesting payment.
