Booking policy rules & options
You can enable or disable any of these rules as part of your default policy or custom booking policies:
Require payment details up front
Cut down on no-shows and last-minute cancellations. Require clients to enter payment details when they book online, giving you peace of mind and a secure way to enforce your cancellation policy.
Charge cancellation and no-show fees
Protect your schedule and your revenue. Add fees for clients who cancel late or don’t show up.
Let clients cancel on their own
Decide whether clients can cancel their appointments online and how far in advance they can do it. Choose from preset timeframes (like 1, 6, 12, 24, 48, or 72 hours before the appointment) or enter your own custom limit.
Let clients reschedule online
Decide whether clients can reschedule their appointments online and how early they can do it, from any time before the appointment to a specific cutoff window you choose.
Limit early bookings
Don’t want clients booking months in advance? Set an early booking limit to control how far ahead clients can schedule. Choose from preset options like 72 hours, 1 week, 1 month, or even set your own custom timeframe.
Limit last-minute bookings
Avoid surprises and short-notice rushes. Use late booking limits to stop clients from booking too close to the appointment start time.
Add custom information to display at checkout
Share important info right at checkout, like “Please arrive 10 minutes early” or “Bring your yoga mat.” It’s an easy way to set expectations and deliver a smooth, professional experience.
Apply policies your way
Use one default policy for all your services and classes or create custom policies for specific offerings. Each service or class can have its own unique rules so you’re always in control.
