When you deactivate, you’ll permanently lose access to your reviews, profile details, booking services, CRM and customer contact list, projects, and account balance — none of this can be restored later.
Note: Any remaining account balance is non-refundable, so be sure to use it before closing your account.
Other Options to Consider
If you just need a break from new leads, there are alternatives that let you keep your account active and all your data intact:
Hide your business – Temporarily remove your business from search results for up to 30 days. You can extend this by hiding it again once the period ends. While hidden, new customers can’t find or message you, but you can still chat with existing clients.
Turn off targeting – Stop receiving leads for specific services while keeping your profile active.
Remove services – Delete any service you no longer want to offer without closing your entire account.
If you manage multiple business profiles, you can delete just one by going to Account Settings and selecting Delete next to the profile you’d like to remove.
How to Deactivate Your Account
If you’ve decided to permanently leave, here’s how to deactivate your Pro account:
Log in to your account.
Click your profile photo (in the top right corner).
Click Settings from the drop-down menu.
On the Settings page, click Account Settings
In your Account settings, click Deactivate account.
Tell us why you’re leaving.
Click Continue.
Confirm you want to deactivate.
Once complete, your account will be closed and your information deleted. While you can reactivate later, your previous data — including leads, reviews, and projects — will not be restored.
Request Access to or Delete Personal Data
If you’d like to access or permanently delete your personal information, you can submit a data request. Processing may take up to 45 days, depending on applicable state laws.
Keep in mind that requesting data deletion will also delete your account. If you don’t want to wait for this process and want to stop leads or charges immediately, follow the deactivation steps above.
