How to set advanced pricing and durations for services

Fine-tune your service menu by setting different prices or durations for each team member or location.

Creating Advanced Pricing Options

Use advanced pricing and durations to set different rates for the same service across team members.

To add advanced pricing options:

  1. Go to Catalog → Services.

  2. Select an existing service, or create a new one.

  3. Under Pricing and duration, click Advanced pricing options.

  4. Select team members.

  5. For each team member, update:

    • Duration

    • Price type

    • Price

  6. Click Save.

You can update advanced pricing at any time.

If a service has multiple pricing options, each option can have its own advanced pricing and durations.


FAQs

Can I edit or delete a pricing option after it’s created?

Yes. Select the service, scroll to Pricing and duration, and update or reset the relevant advanced pricing options.

Where do I update a team member’s job title?

Go to Team members, open the member’s profile, and update their job title.
Job titles help explain why pricing may vary between team members.

Can I display the subtotal instead of the total price?

Not currently. Talo always displays the total price, including taxes, service charges, and discounts.

During checkout, you can:

  • Tap into items to view a full pricing breakdown

  • Adjust prices or apply discounts

  • Preview what your client will see before completing the sale
