Your catalog is the core of your booking and payment system. It holds everything you offer—services, classes, memberships, plans, add-ons, service charges, and discounts—and powers scheduling, online booking, invoicing, estimates, and checkout.
The Templates page is the fastest way to build that catalog. Templates give you pre-configured items you can add with one click, customize, or use as a starting point.
You can also bulk-add multiple items at once or create entirely custom entries from scratch.
As your catalog grows, the rest of your platform becomes easier: smoother booking, faster invoicing, automatic billing, and a seamless client experience.
What Are Templates?
Templates are pre-made, ready-to-use catalog items designed to help you set up your account in minutes.
A template fills in all the core details for you automatically:
✔ Name
✔ Description
✔ Category
✔ Duration
✔ Pricing options
✔ Online booking settings
You can add a template exactly as-is or customize it at any time.
Templates are especially helpful when:
You're setting up your account for the first time
You want your catalog to follow industry-standard best practices
You offer many services and want to build your price book quickly
You’re unsure what durations or pricing structures are typical in your industry
How to Use Templates
1. Choose the category you work in
At the top right, use the “Items for:” filter to choose your industry (e.g., Massage Therapy, Photography, Tutoring, Home Services).
This ensures you only see templates relevant to your business.
2. Browse the available templates
Templates are grouped by item type:
Services – For appointments, jobs, consultations, estimates, invoices, and your full price book
Classes – For group activities, workshops, camps, and recurring events
Add-ons – Optional upgrades or enhancements
Service charges – Required one-time fees added at checkout
Discounts – Promo codes you and clients can apply
3. Click "Add & edit" on any template
You will be taken directly into the editable version.
From there you can:
Update the name
Adjust the description
Change pricing or create multiple price-duration options
Turn online booking on or off
Add an image
Assign staff or locations
4. Save the item to add it to your catalog
Once saved, that item becomes part of your price book and booking system.
Your team can now book it, invoice it, schedule it, or offer it online.
Starting From Scratch
If you don’t see a template that fits exactly what you need, you can always choose Start from scratch.
Starting from scratch is best when:
You offer a highly specialized service or class
You want custom naming or descriptions
The service duration or structure is unique
You need a completely customized setup
This option creates a blank item where everything is customizable.
Bulk Add: How to add many services at once
For businesses with long service lists (salons, spas, contractors, cleaning companies, wellness pros, etc.), Bulk Add saves enormous time.
How Bulk Add Works
Click Bulk add
Select a category (e.g., Massage Therapy, Pet Grooming, HVAC, Tutoring)
Check the boxes next to every service you want to include
Enter your pricing and durations
Select your service location(s)
Add everything to your catalog in one action
Bulk add is ideal for:
New accounts building a large price book
Multi-service businesses
Teams migrating from another system
Pros who want standard industry items added quickly
This feature ensures every item is consistent, structured, and ready for booking.
