What you can do with Classes
Set up classes, camps, events, and group activities with powerful tools that let you control:
Schedules: Create unlimited schedules for each class with custom dates, times, recurrences, locations, capacities, waitlists, and attendance formats.
Pricing: Offer flexible pricing—monthly, full-schedule, drop-in, free options, plus add-ons, fees, and tax settings.
Booking control: Set booking policies, enable/disable online booking, restrict registrations by age, and manage open/late registrations.
Team + resource management: Assign staff, rooms, equipment, or other shared resources to ensure smooth operations.
Customization: Add descriptions, images, colors, categories, and service types for a polished, easy-to-browse class experience.
How to Create a class
Follow these steps to create a new class:
Click Catalog, then Classes, then Add Class
Or, click the +New button shortcut at the top of the navigation menu.Click Service or class.
Under Class, click Start from scratch.
Under Basic details:
Enter a class name.
Add a description (optional). This description will appear when clients view your list of classes and services.
Add images (optional).
Under Color customization, select a color that will be used to represent the class in the booking calendar.
Under Categorization:
Select a menu category (optional). Organizing classes in categories makes it quick and easy for clients to browse and book your services. If you haven't created any categories yet, you'll be prompted to create a new one.
In the drop-down menu, select the most relevant class or service type.
Click Next.
Create a class schedule
A schedule is the dates and times a class runs. A class can have unlimited schedules that occur and repeat at any time with different settings, capacities, and pricing.
Under Schedule:
Choose a Start date and End date for the class.
Use the slider button to indicate if the class is ongoing and has no end date.
Under Block holidays and closings, click Edit and select dates when you won't be bookable.
Under Recurrence, select a recurrence frequency:
Doesn't repeat
Commonly used when the activity occurs for consecutive days or one-off events, camps, and workshops
Weekly
Click on the days of the week when the class will occur.
Use the slider button to indicate whether the client must book on all the available days of the week.
Monthly
Choose the day or date when the class will occur each month.
Yearly
It will recur annually, starting on the start date.
Under Duration:
Use the slider button to indicate whether all the class days have the same start and end time.
Select the class Start time and End time.
Under Location, select In-person or Online to indicate where the class will take place.
Under Registration:
Enter the maximum number of participants that can register for the class. You can exceed this number by manually adding participants to the class.
Use the slider button to enable a waitlist. Customers on the waitlist will be notified when a spot opens up.
User the slider button to restrict registration by age group.
Under Open registration, use the slider button to allow registration after the class start time.
Under Roster format, click Attendance or Check-in/Check-out to indicate the default attendance type.
Under Booking preferences:
Choose a Booking policy to set the cancellation and rescheduling rules for the class.
Use the slider button to enable or disable Online bookings.
Under Assigned team, click Select and choose the team members who will offer the class.
Under Payment preferences, choose whether customers will pay online or offline.
Under Resources, click Select to assign shared resources—like rooms, stations, or equipment—to the service.
Click Next.
Set schedule pricing
There are a few different options you can use when setting the prices for your schedules:
Review the class Schedule details to ensure the information is correct.
Under Pricing, use the toggle buttons to select one or more pricing structures for your class:
Monthly pricing: Charge customers every month for the length of the schedule.
Full schedule pricing: Require customers to pay in full for the entire schedule.
Drop-in pricing: Allow customers to book and pay for a single class within the schedule.
Free class: Allow customers to book a free drop-in class or the entire schedule.
Under Add-ons and fees:
Use the slider buttons to enable optional add-ons or required one-time fees.
Under Advanced settings, user the slider button to indicate whether the service is exempt from tax.
Click Save to complete the setup process and set the class live.
