Create a class

Set up the classes, events, camps, and other group activities you offer to power online bookings, scheduling, and invoices.

Add classes, events, and group activities to your account to boost your enrollments. You can add as few or as many classes as you want!

Follow these steps to create a new class:

  1. Open the Catalog and select Classes.

  2. Click Add class.

  3. Under Class, click Start from scratch.

  4. Under Basic details:

    • Enter a class name.

    • Add a description (optional). This description will appear when clients view your list of classes and services.

    • Add images (optional).

  5. Under Color customization, select a color that will be used in the booking calendar.

  6. Under Categorization:

    • Select a menu category (optional). Organizing classes in categories makes it quick and easy for clients to browse and book your services. If you haven't created any categories yet, you'll be prompted to create a new one.

    • In the drop-down menu, select the most relevant class or service type.

  7. Click Next.

  8. Under Schedule:

    • Choose a Start date and End date for the class.

    • Use the slider button to indicate if the class is ongoing and has no end date.

    • Under Block holidays and closings, click Edit and select dates when you won't be bookable.

  9. Under Recurrence, select a recurrence frequency:

    • Doesn't repeat

    • Weekly

      • Click on the days of the week when the class will occur.

      • Use the slider button to indicate whether the client must book on all the available days of the week.

    • Monthly

      • Choose the day or date when the class will occur each month.

    • Yearly

  10. Under Duration:

    • Use the slider button to indicate whether all the class days have the same start and end time.

    • Select the class Start time and End time.

  11. Under Location, select In-person or Online to indicate where the class will take place.

  12. Under Registration:

    • Enter the maximum number of participants that can register for the class. You can exceed this number by manually adding participants to the class.

    • Use the slider button to enable a waitlist. Customers on the waitlist will be notified when a spot opens up.

    • User the slider button to restrict registration by age group.

    • Under Open registration, use the slider button to allow registration after the class start time.

  13. Under Roster format, click Attendance or Check-in/Check-out to indicate the default attendance type.

  14. Under Booking preferences:

    • Choose a Booking policy to set the cancellation and rescheduling rules for the class.

    • Use the slider button to enable or disable Online bookings.

    • Under Assigned team, click Select and choose the team members who will offer the class.

    • Under Payment preferences, choose whether customers will pay online or offline.

  15. Under Resources, click Select to assign shared resources—like rooms, stations, or chairs—to the service.

  16. Click Next.

  17. Review the class Schedule details to ensure the information is correct.

  18. Under Pricing, use the slider buttons to indicate the pricing structure for your class:

    • Monthly pricing

      • Select the billing date (the 1st or 15th of every month).

      • Enter the price per month.

      • Enable or disable proration.

    • Full schedule pricing

      • Enter the full price.

      • Enable or disable proration.

    • Drop-in pricing

      • Enter the price for a single class.

    • Free class

      • Choose whether clients can book drop-in classes, the full schedule, or both.

  19. Under Add-ons and fees:

    • Use the slider buttons to enable optional add-ons or required one-time fees.

  20. Under Advanced settings, user the slider button to indicate whether the service is exempt from tax.

  21. Click Save to complete the setup process.
