Talo Payments: Understanding the Status of Your Account

After you create a Talo Payments account, your account will show one of the statuses below. This depends on things like whether you’ve finished setup or if your account needs verification.

To check your account status:

  • Go to Getting Paid, then scroll down and click Manage or Finish Setup in your site’s dashboard.

  • Look at the status next to Talo Payments.

Learn more about each status below:


Pending

You connected Talo Payments, but you cannot accept payments yet.

Talo is required to review your personal or business information before approving. We may need your help to complete verification. You have 30 days to finish setup or verification. If not completed, your Talo Payments account will be suspended and you will no longer be able to accept payments.


Accepting Payments

You connected Talo Payments, but you have not completed setup or verification.

Customers can pay, but you cannot receive payouts to your bank account.

To complete setup:

  • Click on the Getting Paid tab

  • Click Get Started or Finish Setup

  • Click Complete Account Setup.

  • Enter your details and click Submit.


Active

Your Talo Payments account is connected and accepting payments. You can receive payouts on the standard payout schedule.

Note: You may still be asked to complete verification after your account becomes active.


Suspended

You did not finish setup or verification within 30 days.

While suspended, you cannot receive payments or process refunds through Talo Payments.

To reactivate your account:

  • Click on the Getting Paid tab

  • Click Get Started or Finish Setup

  • Enter your details and click Submit.


Closed

Your site does not comply with our Terms of Service, or you offer prohibited products or services.


Blocked

We have reviewed your account and confirmed fraudulent activity. You cannot accept payments.
