For regulatory and security reasons, Talo Payments may occasionally require updated information to keep your account verified. You may also need to update your settings if your details change—such as your address, bank account, business information,payment methods, and passing processing fees.
You can update your Talo Payments account settings at any time, including personal details, business details, bank account information, and business description.
To update your account settings:
Go to Getting Paid tab in your dashboard.
Scroll down and click Manage
Update the relevant fields.
Any changes will automatically save.
Tip: Follow Talo’s document-upload guidelines to ensure your files are accepted successfully.
Important
Whenever you update your information, Talo is required to re-verify your account. During this time, your status temporarily returns to Accepting Payments. You can continue accepting payments, but payouts to your bank account will pause until verification is complete.
Verification may take up to 7 business days. Once approved, all accumulated payouts will be released to you.
Passing credit card and ACH fees to your clients
You can toggle on 'Pass processing fees' to automatically pass all transaction fees to the client.
Certain state laws may prohibit you from transferring Service Fees to your customers based on your location or that of your customers. Before activating the fee pass-through option, ensure you understand the relevant laws and regulations regarding service fees in your area. It is your responsibility to comply with all applicable state laws and Card Network Rules when enabling this feature and passing on Service Fees to your customers.
